What kind of plants grow on Union Street? Pressing plants has long been a way of documenting what grows where and how ecosystems fit together understanding them. The kind of plants which grow on Union Street are mostly incidental, found in cracks in the pavement or growing up fences. They create an atmosphere which "official planting" has overlooked. Environmental artist Emma Weaver has created a compendium of pressed plants, leaves and drawings with detailed classification system of what the plant is, where it was found on the street which ended up as a large format "green" map of Union Street.
