The "Deckenwerkstatt" at the
Triemli has been going since July 2010, and we've been
talking/making/swapping blankets and their Why and What
extensively. For the final event Tanja Trampe from the Museum Bellerieve in Zürich
will introduce the museum collection, and open a debate on
contemporary applications of handicraft. She's currently organising
the exhibition "Neue
Masche" which looks at art and design projects that deal with
knitting, sawing, stitching etc.

publication brings together a lot of the experience, debate and
case studies which were important to the RHYZOM project. A 300+ pages reader,
collectively compiled by many who were part of RHYZOM, and edited
by aaa in Paris, will appear on the informal network distribution
market soon. Most likely we will have a Friday Session where
contributors and the actual book offer some insight into what has
been an 18 months collaborative and trans-national research and
