Andy graduated in 2015 from the Royal College of Art with an MA in Architecture, having previously studied in Newcastle and Leeds.
His research is focussed around the retention of a temporary use site in Deptford, The Old Tidemill Wildlife Garden, a vacant plot of land transformed into a thriving garden run and managed by local citizens. With a wider interest in democratic city making, Andy sits on the board of Deptford Neighbourhood Action an activist group who are campaigning for sustainable development in the local area.
Outside Deptford, Andy has lectured at Central Saint Martins, The London School of Economics and run workshops with Umeå University of Arts. His latest research is focussed around ideas of the commons, having recently won Theatrum Mundi's 'Designing the Urban Commons' competition.
